Ok back at work today and I must admit I’ve got a bit less inspiration than my days off. In fact today is the first time I don’t think I’ve got any ideas to write about before sitting down. Maybe it’s because I’ve already used all my brain power for today.
I did notice I got some large writing task done first thing when I got to work I think maybe it was helped by my practice writing this blog. I was able to just lock in and spew out my thoughts. Was it high quality, probably not, but at least ideas came out and I think that’s a good start.
Maybe I need to start bringing around a little notebook to take notes to think about during the day. It seems weird to carry a small notebook around but I guess it is socially acceptable to do it with a phone.
I listened to one of my regular podcasts today (the Imperfects), I’m not finished yet but they were talking about AI with an expert Joel Pearson. It seemed a little alarmist but maybe I don’t appreciate just how much AI will change the world. I had heard Joel talk before and he seemed a little more level headed.
Anyway sorry for the above human slop. As you can probably tell did not have much to muse about today. Now that I think of it, its kind of funny that you only hear people talk about AI slop. I feel like human slop should be a thing. Which is just badly written human writing. Why do we think slop only comes from AI? I think I’m going to use the term human slop in my about me for this blog.
